Whitney PRESENTATIONAL

I developed a new type of Whitney exhibition series, called "PRESENTATIONAL," which curates artworks together in shows categorized by their medium. These three digital, animated advertisements for train station billboards are for the first three in the series - The Digital, Print and Paint PRESENTATIONALS in December 2021.

Here are the three advertisements I came up with to be looped on digital billboards:
Instead of having the visuals of these advertisements feature pieces from these collections, they are layered, simple building blocks of the primary colors and basic shapes of each medium. For viewers this reinforces the medium over the pieces, the main focus of the collections. The simple visuals also allow the ads to have ample breathing room for the informative text, and keeps with the Whitney's plain branding identity.
